Inspired by the dreamlike world of 'Alice in Wonderland', this painting reimagines the tea party through a Portuguese lens, where pastries become 'pastéis de nata', and flowers are 'cravos'.

In Portugal, 'cravos' are not just flowers. They carry the memory of the April 25 Revolution, a symbol of quiet bravery, of peace and non-violent resistance.
